Who We Are

We are pleased to confirm that as of July 2026, Boots Hockey Club is now a registered Charity!

More specifically, we are a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) with the aim:

'To promote community participation in amateur field hockey for all ages across Nottingham and the surrounding areas, offering healthy recreation, facilities and competition'.

• 5 Men's Teams, 5 Ladies' Teams, 3 Mixed Teams and a thriving Junior Academy.
• Facilities in the heart of Nottingham, at Lady Bay Bridge.
• Regular social events including a great End of Season Dinner at Trent Bridge.
• Regular training & top coaching.
• Run by an extremely enthusiastic and organised committee, striving to make us the most enjoyable hockey club in the Midlands.

If you think we could be the hockey club for you then please do consider coming to Lady Bay to meet the Boots family.

We recommend that you get in touch via our contacts form, so that one of our captains or committee members can chat with you and ensure that you are welcomed at any of our sessions.

We have players of all levels, including some that have never played hockey before joining us!

If you are looking to play competitive matches, we will get you in to one of our teams for matches on Saturdays, additionally, there are mixed matches every other Sunday throughout the majority of the season.

There are also plenty of opportunities to play throughout the summer as well!
